#5- Nature (15 Reasons to Live)

Often, we take for granted the beautiful place we live in. Sometimes, all we think about is the negative side of our rainy snowy winters, hot windy summers, and dark grey springs. We don’t take enough time to step back and look at the beauty that we have surrounding us. We are lucky to live in a province that has vast amounts of spaces with lakes, rivers, forests, and mountains. As we drive through the cities and towns we can see lush green lawns, walking trails, the snowy peaks of the mountains, and so much more.
What we need to remember is that it’s not like this all over the world. Some places have been affected by many different things like climate change, war, and natural disasters. Sure BC has some of its own issues, but it’s important to be grateful and take in the breathtaking scenery that has been given to us. Something we can all try is to look at everything as if we’re seeing it for the first time.
Our beautiful province has helped shape who I am. I am proud of its beauty and proud that so many people want to come see the wonderful scenery that lives right in our back yard.
